About

Kate MacLeod - Founder

I started KM Health and Lifestyle to help athletes perform at their best, without stressing about food.

Too many people are stuck in the same cycle:
Restrict. Overthink. Feel guilty. Repeat.

You want to improve your body composition.
You want to perform better.
You know what to do.

But the overload of information leaves you stuck and old habits win.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

I’ll help you understand what you’re eating, how it impacts your body and training, and how to fuel properly, so you can feel strong, confident, and in control.

No confusion.
No food anxiety.

Just smarter fuelling and better performance.

Expertise

I qualified as a YMCA Level 3 Personal Trainer  in 2012 and have a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coaching qualification.

I've helped 100s of amateur athletes  and pro athlete's fuel to feel good and get confident!

My Sporting Journey

In 2022 I joined Henttala Development Team, a Finnish based women’s road cycling team, founded by Lotta Henttala. I then joined UK team Wahoo LeCol for 1 season. Unfortunately, both years were filled with illness and crashes. which meant I didn’t race much.

I participated in my first gravel race in 2023, after Canyon Finland agreed to loan me a gravel bike for the season. I felt like I’d found my place in cycling! The long, relenting nature of gravel racing was perfect for my diesel engine. I also loved the adventure and the community around the race, it was very different to road, because there was a pre race BBQ.

I left Banking to pursue racing my bike full-time. Within 7 months I was at my first Elite Gravel World Championships, representing Great Britain.

I raced on the road and TT for 2024, coming 5th at the Estonian national TT champs and 2nd at Tartu Rattamarathon. I did top 10s in gravel races in the Nordics and was 15th at The Traka.

2025 took a different route with adding e-racing to my program.

The journey continues!
